Hcg level decreasing 😢

I went to the ER yesterday because I was bleeding blood clots. I am around 5 weeks pregnant but they couldn’t see anything in my uterus :( they said it may be early to see anything or I might be having a ectopic pregnancy as they saw something on one of my tubes. they did a blood test and said that my hcg level went down almost by 100. It was at 371 and now it was 275 :( anyone experience this? Idk why I’m still hoping the numbers go back up. But it sounds like it’s most likely a miscarriage 💔
