Is it weird to give a guy flowers for Father’s Day ? Saying it’s from his son.

Edit: My boyfriend loves giving me flowers. It sad to say but guys only receive flowers on their funeral. He once made a joke about man how come men don’t receive flowers. He laughed. I was like what would you do if I gave you flowers someday he was like I would honestly don’t know how to react because I never got any. This was almost a year ago this conversation happened. His son yesterday gave him little flowers from the garden he looked so happy when he got them. So I’m more convinced.
