Fiancé’s gender disappointment
We did the sneak peak test and found out we’re having a Boy! I didn’t care which gender we had (girl we would have hand me downs).
My Fiancé on the other hand. Really wanted another girl. This would be it for us too.
He was not the best child and every boy he has known has been a whirlwind of energy and misbehaved.
How can I support his disappointment? He told me before we found out he would be disappointed and I told him he just has to get over it by time baby gets here and act happy about it around our other child.
I’m just thankful to be able to have another one with all of my health issues.
I want to talk names too since he wants us to choose it early (unlike last time) but now I think I am going to have to wait until he comes to me with the topic.
Any advice on how I can support him? Maybe from those who have had gender disappointment in the past?
