Possible lactose intolerant baby?

My husband and I have been having a hard time finding a good formula for our 2 month old baby. She gets very gassy and irritable after each feed. We’ve been using the similac brand and gone from Pro Advance, Total Comfort, Sensitive, and now on Pro Sensitive. We’ve seen improvement on the Pro Sensitive but she still gets super gassy like it hurts her. We burp her 2-3 times while she’s feeding and sometimes she’ll only eat a little bit then start crying like it hurts her to eat. Her pediatrician doesn’t seem too worried.  Any suggestions or advice?

Go with your gut. My pediatrician disregarded my babies tummy troubles too as just normal infant gas and pains but she’s doing SO much better on Similac Pro-Sensitive. She can’t take regular formula, gentlease or even breastmilk. She’s actually a happy baby now! If you feel like your baby isn’t completely better on the sensitive formula then try a hypoallergenic like Nutramigen. A little gas is normal just like it is for us adults but your little one shouldn’t be in immense pain like that 🙂

We breastfeed and our baby is also super super gassy 🤷🏼‍♀️ only thing that can help i. Iur case is comforting her and giving it time. Some babies are gassy and some not.

Are the poops full of mucus? 
Unfortunately we’ve had the same issue with our son being really gassy and uncomfortable after feeding. Eventually his stools became really mucusy and that was a big red flag. Our doctor recommended a cows milk and soy free diet because I’m breastfeeding and if I switch to formula she recommended Nutramigen. I have a friend who had to switch to the same formula because of a cows milk allergy and it worked wonderfully. 
You could always try gripe water or gas drops first to see if that helps. Keep an eye on the diaper situation though - if that becomes suspicious it might be an allergy.

Nutramigen is what my baby was on the first couple weeks to supplement. He went from spitting up a ton to a normal amount almost immediately. The only problem is the cost but it’s worth it if it means baby is comfy.

Our baby girl had the same problem as well, her pediatrician recommended nutramigen hypoallergenic, it has been a life changer. Our baby seems like a whole new baby without the intense pain and crying

Similac ailmentum ready to feed as it doesn’t have milk nor corn in it when I gave it to my baby I saw a change almost immediately read the labels and research online to see what works best for you
