Severe Morning Sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum) HELP
Hey there everyone!
As the title says, I need some serious help LOL. I am 7w+6 and have been diagnosed with severe morning sickness. It started about a week ago (6w+6) and I’ve been vomiting nonstop since then (it’s all day everyday sickness for me lmao) I’ve had to go to the hospital to get an IV with fluids since I was so dehydrated from vomiting everything I ate or drank. My Dr doesn’t want to prescribe me any serious nausea meds like diclotin so they gave me a prescription of Vitamin B6 which supposedly helps with nausea just as well. Well I call bullshit on that. The nausea has not slowed down and I’m so very tired of feeling like this. I’m so nauseous I barely speak to my boyfriend because even that upsets my stomach to a point. I keep crackers on my bedside table and eat a couple when I go to bed and when I wake up, it’s been the only thing thats helped but it still doesn’t stop the vomiting.
Does anyone have any tips on how to help ease the crazy “morning” sickness? I haven’t worked in over a week because I’m constantly throwing up and I’m just so exhausted. I want to call my Dr and beg for some stronger nausea meds but last time I called they said I wasn’t far along enough for anything stronger than that and told me they only prescribe stuff like diclotin for those who are 10-15 weeks along.
Any advice helps, and for those who are also going through something similar I feel for you. 💕
It’s so mentally and physically draining, I barely feel like a person right now.
