We had been friends for a year prior and one day as I was about to leave after hanging out he said, "I'm going to kill myself if I don't do this," and he grabbed my waist and laid one on me. I went home a bit in shock, the next day he called me and I asked him what he meant by the kiss and he said he wanted to be in a relationship with me and I said yes.

He didn’t actually really say anything, we met on OKCupid, had gone on maybe 5 or 6 dates over the course of 2 weeks, I went to pull up his profile to show his picture to my sister & his profile was gone. We already had plans for our next date & weren’t messaging through the site anymore so I wasn’t worried he was about to ghost me or anything, but I was still curious as to why it was gone. He messaged me back & said “Yeah, I’ve been on some dates with some other people but honestly you’re the only one I’m excited about so I figured I’d take it down.” I was very happy to hear that because I felt the same. I let him know that I was also going to take down mine. 7.5 years later & we’re still going strong :)

LOL he never asked, neither did I and tbh we don’t even have a date. We hung out one on one after meeting and hanging through mutual friends and just never parted 😂 We’ve been together 5 years though 😌🥰💛

Wait I’m confused with all these answers!!! None of them have an official Question tf?? 😂😂 I thought everyone’s was “will you be my girlfriend?” My first bf was “would you want to be boyfriend and girlfriend?” Second was “will you be my valentine?” (It was Valentine’s Day) And my current one, I asked him if he’s wanna go on a date sometime, so we did (at this point I consider it just a date. A dates a date. Doesn’t mean we’re together. Just seeing each other) Then we went out a few times. Then like the fourth time we went out he said “will you be my girlfriend?” And we kissed. Some of y’all just went on a date and became bf and gf after that????? How?? How do both people know that it’s a relationship? What if one person thinks it’s a date the other thinks it’s an official relationship??

Him and my friend and her family were dropping me off at home after an outing. He said he was going to walk me to the car and he stopped me before we reached the porch, grabbed my hands and said, "Will you be my girlfriend?" I said yes! Lol and then he quite literally WADDLED away like a penguin 😂 I still tease him to this day 5 years later haha.
