Painful ???

My induced day is June 24th, for those of you who experienced induction is it really painful? I wanted to have labor with no epidural but a lot of moms are saying it’s painful.

It depends on how ready your body is for birth. If your body is ready it'll be a much smoother experience. If not, it can be very difficult and take days, as mine did. Pitocin can make contractions way more intense/painful than normal labor contractions and it kind of overrides your body's natural ways of giving you a break between contractions, which also makes it way harder.

It’s the same as giving birth naturally. Being induced doesn’t make it anymore painful and you don’t have to have the epidural if you don’t want to. The only about my induction was it felt quite intense as it all happened quickly but you will be fine x
