Shots given wrong on 6m old ?

I took my 6 month old for her shots on Tuesday and after we left I noticed her legs were bruising up , I could feel 2 small bumps ball like almost where her shots were given. We had gone to a new dr and I noticed the nurse gave her the shots on the sides of her Legs instead of on top like her usual nurse does. Has anyone had this happened to their kids ? I’m thinking of making an appointment on Monday for this.

It should definitely be on the sides of the legs the vastus lateralis muscles. The lumps and bruising can happen right away just monitor for any bright redness or the skin feeling hot to the touch at the site

Lightly massage baby's legs and I always give motrin after shots for pain

Depending on the vaccine some of them can be done sub q. Polio and pneumonia can be done sub q which are common 6 month shots
