Cervical check and Group B Strep— painful?

Hi y’all. 
I’ll be 35 weeks tomorrow. Babe was breech at 31 weeks so we’re checking position again tomorrow. I’ll also be having my first cervical check and my group B strep test… I’m kinda nervous. Do either of those hurt? Please no horror stories— cuz that’ll just freak me out more.

No it’s really no big deal! Hurts really bad when they’re checking you and you’re having contractions though 😅

Cervical check can be a bit uncomfortable, but it’s nothing crazy or painful at all! They will just poke around up there and feel your cervix.
The GSB Swab is literally just a cotton swab - it’s painless and super easy!

You’ll be fine, mama. ❤️ It’s almost always uncomfortable & something we can never get used to. Just relax & don’t tense up when the doctor checks. It’s won’t hurt. It’ll just be uncomfortable. And my doctor always tries to do this as quickly as possible. Hopefully yours does too.

The strep test doesn't hurt. Cervix check can be annoying and uncomfortable, a little milder than your normal yearly, at least for me and I have a sensitive cervix. 
You will be fine.
