What was your first period postpartum like?

Hi ladies! I just got my first period PP, and it’s super super light. How was yours?

I pretty sure the first one was pretty light but ever since then it’s been Niagara Falls every month 😩

First period was light but was more clotted/brownish. Second period was hell on earth. I wasn’t prepared for such a heavy flow and I went to the beach (didn’t go swimming). I only had regular pads and I had to go change just about every hour. It was a nightmare. I’ll be prepare for the third one though, I hope.

Bad but not horrendous , nothing like the first one after my first baby which was horrific. This baby they’ve been fine after the first one x

My very first postpartum period with this baby I actually questioned if it was a period. Very light, more like dark heavy discharge than an actual period. The second period was much heavier, but not much longer than a typical period (lasted about 7-9 days). Total opposite from my experience with my son (Spartacus in my uterus and lasted for 21 days 😫).
