Suspected ectopic

I’m looking for a little hope :(

I had my first hcg done when they assumed I was 6 weeks & it read 58, I had my blood work redone 3 days later and it increased to 98, 48hours later it was 198 & 48 after then it was 252.

The doctors keep telling me I’m suspected ectopic & are arranging more bloods tomorrow & a scan but I’m just terrified of this being true!

Can anyone give me any advice or opinions on this? Like is it normal to be this low?
