Labor and delivery
This question is for all y’all experienced moms out there And Doctors...
So Jan 20th at 36+1 weeks I had my appointment at 9:30am. But woke up 7AM bleeding. So I rushed to the emergency room otw to the car im sure my water broke. When I got they hooked me up and another doctor came in to check why I was bleeding. He found my placenta was tearing (placenta abruption). I was also having these contractions, which I was told was around 1-2 mins apparent. I was told I was in active labor. Though he didn’t say or I don’t remember how many CM I was dilated. So apparently things picked up quickly when I got hooked up. Though the doctor suggested a csection which I went forward with because I was nervous as I’ve had a miscarriage before. Ofc since then, I’ve had second thoughts that I could have went naturally since it all seemed to be picking up quick. I’m considering VBAC for my next baby unless I get pregnant before I plan to.
But I was wondering do these contractions look strong to y’all? Do you think I would have labored quick? That my baby wouldn’t have went into distress or heart drop?
