Breastfeeding

Is anyone expecting and still breastfeeding a toddler? I’m 36 weeks today and have a 16 month old who in the last week has decided to go from nursing 3-4 times a day to 5-6 and 45+ minutes long. I know my supply dropped (but it’s come way back up). Now I’m worried how he’s going to be while I’m in labor. Worst case my sister my sister can nurse him which isn’t really worst case, but she’s also supposed to be at the birth with my mom and my boyfriend.

Does anyone have advice or wisdom? He also isn’t sleeping great so I think we’re in a sleep regression/teething/he knows mama is tired and a bit stressed.

When I have little to no milk and he tries to nurse it hurts so bad. 😭 then he gets upset and won’t sleep.
