When To Bring a Guy Home?

Question

So I met a guy on tinder and we met up by our public beach and spent time with each other for 6 hours. 3 hours sitting at the beach talking then 3 hours hours at a restaurant. 
I want to hang with him again, I’m thinking the beach would be nice but I’m also thinking I want to hangout at my place. I feel pretty safe after our first encounter. Going off of our tinder messages, text messages and face to face encounter I feel pretty comfortable having him at my place to drink wine and watch a movie. 
However I don’t know if I should?? I don’t want to have sex, I want to spend more time getting to know one another more but don’t want to give off the wrong idea/impression either.....I had a tinder date that seemed pretty cool and normal then we went to his place and he wanted to have sex and that wasn’t my thing....
I’m thinking maybe meeting up to hang at the beach, then grab food again once or twice more then have him over.

For as long as you don’t want intimacy all meetings should be outside in a public area, it will be very easy to misinterpret the situation if you bring him to you place or accept to go to his.

I would continue with outside dates rather than in home for a few more. Go out to eat, go to an arcade, go bowling, play mini golf. This way there is no pressure and plenty of get to know one another time.

You seem like a smart, self assured lady. If you feel comfortable having him over, then do it! Society has a great way of making us feel ashamed for things that can be totally normal.
For safety- let a friend know that someone is coming over- preferably someone who lives close by. Plan for them to call you once the date starts, and have a code word set up ahead of time. For example, "Mom is bringing dinner over tonight." If your friend hears that sentence- they'll know you're feeling unsure about the guy in your house. They can either come over, help you make up an excuse to get him to leave, or call the police if necessary.
Speaking from experience- I once invited someone over, and halfway through the date realized I didn't want them over anymore. I texted a friend "call me and say you need something." She called and said she was sick and needed a ride to the walk in clinic- he left.
Lots of these comments are coming from a good place of concern, but are also veiled with judgement. Meet dudes online, have them over, use your brain. You don't seem like you're putting yourself in a dangerous situation, just take the steps to be sure!

I don't think it is wise to meet up at your place. You're meeting a guy off a well known "hook up" site and inviting him over the second time you met him could send off the wrong intentions. 
Hopefully you were honest with him with what you're looking for so there won't be any confusions.
