Convincing Pregnancy

Ok so this is the second time this has happened with men I am dating... I express a desire to have a child (not necessarily right then and there, but sometime within the next couple of years) and they ask me to convince them??? I can respect a man not wanting to have kids, but to convince them just feels wrong. If they don’t actually want kids, then they are not the one for me because I do. I am not sure how to approach this? Has this happened to anyone ?
