Pillow.. Yay or nay? (please read)

Sooo.

Our boy has been having trouble sleeping at night.

We have other kids and they're having exams at school.. So we can't just let him cry to soothe himself back to sleep.. (which he did, but hasn't done since a month)

When I let him choose a spot in our living room to sleep.. He'll sleep like this.

He doesn't actually want to sleep in his bed. I only get him in when he's already quite asleep. When he wakes up in the night.. We take him into our bed because more recently he'll be inconsolable choking and almost throwing up...

He does sleep in our bed.. On a pillow.

Does this mean we should get him a pillow to bed?

(he's 10, 5 months.. He's very able, he's crawling like a boss, standing and cruising like he'll walk any day now, rolling around in bed like he needs a king size, currently sleeping without blanket anyways... I'm not particularly worried about his safety.. Even though I never really wanted a pillow for him, definitely not at this age, I do believe he might need one to have a good nights rest..)

And I'll add..

That I've had this thought before.. But my husband shot it down, but he's been off work because of a heart problem he's actually seen it now (before he was never here to see it, so that's why he shot it down) and now HE came up with the idea that our baby might need a pillow.. 😂

I guess we're just worried because it "shouldn't" be done at this age.. I think?
