Did she not want to hang out with me/ is she fake for this

I texted this girl if she’s busy about a week ago and if she maybe Wanna hang out one day then she told me she’s not busy but she’s too lazy to ask her brother if he’s using the car, btw they both share the car, today I saw that she posted that she was with her friends.

Meant yes/no. I feel like there needs to be more context, to know if she’s fake. A week passed, she might have just forgot. And sometimes I’ll loosely say “yeah, we should hangout sometime when I’m free” without the intention to make full on plans that exact weekend.

I’m old school. If I make a commitment with someone I stick to it. If I can’t I let them know, almost always in advance. If someone says no to me but does other things or tells me they’ll do something if they feel like it, I move on (obviously with very close friends this isn’t always true). You prioritize people you care about. 
I’ve heard it called the Matt Damon or Ben Affleck rule (or whoever you like) in regards to conflicting schedules. If you ask someone to do something and they say no or they can’t. Move on. If they say no but follow up with a date they can, then they value you.
