Do you think it's best for the children to have a mom who works outside the home? 
Let's say for this poll that the mom is well off and can afford to make either choice. What do you think it's best for the kids?

Being a stay at home parent isnt for everyone. Its not always about money.

There's no one blanket answer. What's good for some kids won't be good for others. Some might be OK, some won't.

I ultimately think its best or ideal for kids to have a present parent in the home. That being said... if the women is stressed and not herself or feeling overloaded by being home all the time and is the type to want to work outside the home... a happy balance should be worked out. A mom who is moody and overworked either inside or outside of the home not good for kids.

I think what matters is what’s best for the parents and the mother. Even if a woman could afford either maybe she’d rather go to work because she enjoys working and likes her career and she doesn’t want to stay home? What’s best for the non is what’s best for the kids.

Whatever makes the mother happiest. If mom stays home and feel resentment, that’s not good for the kids. If mom works just because of societal pressure too and would rather be home, that’s not good for the kids either.

I don’t think either is better than the other, they both have their ups and downs.
