is my boyfriend cheap or am i overreacting?

sooo my bf has never taken me out on a date, didn’t get me a birthday gift, well basically hasn’t spent any money on me personally since valentine’s day. I’m not trying to sound like that girl that’s like buy me everything but i do believe it’s nice when a guy at least tries to pay for things like a drink or even like my favorite candy🤷🏾‍♀️. i mean he has a job but guess what he spends his money on.. weed😭 i mean i’m not judging like i at least try to treat him. I pay for stuff for his video game, get hos favorite snacks, and the gas money to go all the way to his house adds up fr lol. but y’all am i overreacting and should let it go or is this not right? i repeat i do not want to sound like those “buy me everything” girls i swear to u i’m not i just wanted y’all’s opinion.
