Ectopic MC and HCG levels

Hi. Im currently going through a early MC, my levels are completely at 0 now, and im still bleeding and cramping.. I started having sharp pains on my right side and now I'm scared it could be ectopic?? Does hcg go to a 0 with ectopic? Or would it still have some levels to read?
