I like this guy who's taken

I've been friends with this boy for a few years. I've always liked him but when I found out he liked me I was taken and when he found out I liked him he was taken. His girlfriend is in college and they've been together a couple years. She was an adult when he was 14 which I find super weird but his parents allowed it. His parents don't care about anyone and he gets abused at home... We just finished up our sophomore year. He came to my window late tonight crying because his mom got drunk and hit him again. His eye was black. He's also having girlfriend issues because he found out she cheated... In my opinion he's 16 and she's 23 and in college... It makes sense she would want a college guy. But I didn't say that. I was just there to support. When be was done crying he gave me a hug and said he loved me and didn't know what he would do without me.... Oh well... If it's meant to be it will happen someday
