How do you clean your tile & hardwood floors?

I currently use a swifter but I have learned they suck. I can’t get the sticky off of any of my floors with it, I feel like it’s just making it worse and spreading the sticky around. 
We just bought a house in November after having an apartment with only carpet and vinyl so I don’t know how to care for my floors. Help!!

I vacuum all floors and use this on the hardwood/tile

I use Bruce on my hardwood and a regular mop on my tile.

I like using swifter for dust and dog hair but maybe try a wet jet for the sticky stuff or a steamer.

I vacuum and use a regular sponge mop. I want a steam mop though.

Bissel cross wave. Love love love it!! Before that I used a microfiber sweeper from Walmart, and the bona spray mob with microfiber head.

I had tile floors, I found the swifter to not be effective at all we’d always get black feet & sticky floors even though I used the swifter 4x a week. lol, I switched to a regular mop & pine-sol. It’s definitely better than the swifter!
