Bowel Changes

Has anyone noticed a significant change in their bowel movements postpartum? I was extremely constipated for the second half of my pregnancy which I know is normal. Since having our bub 5wks ago I go once a day and it's a significant 'clean out'. I've bled quite a bit each time which I put down to piles, but this morning when I wiped there was quite a large blood clot. I've never experienced this before, is that normal?
