Can I carry out a site inspection on a quarry?

I am two weeks pregnant and I am an engineer who has to do the several inspection on a quarry site where there are high level noise and dust.
I can wear ear plug and mask but i am not too sure how safe this is for me as it is only two weeks in my pregnancy? Could you share your thoughts please?

Quarry miners wife here - though I am not a dr! It would depend on what the earth deposits are in the quarry materials eg is there heavy metals? Is their salicylic dust? Radiation dust? I would definitely talk to you dr and the quarry manager to find out exactly what traces of what are in the rocks/dusts/products produced.

Yeah I’d ask your doctor. Noise isn’t a concern. But dust from certain things could be. Although if you wear a mask you’re probably fine. Ask your doctor to be sure
