What is your method of “disciplining” your MB?

Mine seems to be in a very testy phase now where she does exactly what I tell her not to do lol

Idk how I feel about timeouts. I can see the pros and cons of it.

Anyone have a method that worked? I’ve tried explaining why we don’t do something but she’ll just smile and do it again 🤦🏻‍♀️

Obviously nothing that inflicts fear or pain or anything. This is my first and I’m at a total loss 😭 I thought I would know how to raise a child well but I feel like I’m second guessing my methods and I keep overthinking how everything from different methods would affect her..
