What do you think is the biggest thing we should learn from Pride Month. It’s not just about rainbows and parades and it’s not just about a month long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. What is the deeper meaning they everyone should take away from pride month. What do you thing?

Civil disobedience and protest works. 
I feel really mixed about companies profiteering off pride month, but the very fact they even want to shows how much things have changed just in my own lifetime.

People who are lgbtq+ are not here to be fixed and there’s nothing wrong with us.
We live normal lives just like anyone else. We have families just like anyone else. 
GET YOUR HEAD OIT OF YOUR ASSES AND LET US LIVE LIFE AS WE SEE FIT..

That the LGBTQ+ community has always been and still very much is discriminated against in so many ways and in so many levels. I see too many people and companies be like: hey, we gave them a month of rainbow parades so they need to shut up about all the violence and aggression they still face.

That homophobia and transphobia is still alive and well.
Just based on the comments on articles on Facebook, I have never seen so much ignorance and bigotry as I have during pride month this month!

Honestly, just be kind to people. That's it. Nobody is going to be harmed by treating others with dignity and respect.

That the LGBTQ+ community are just normal fucking people who deserve the same rights and representation as heterosexuals and cisgendered folk.

That they deserve to be treated like human beings and with respect. Being kind and accepting of others. Never really thought it was about a rainbow or parade, but about people coming together to celebrate being able to be themselves without judgment even though you have those people (closed minded asshats) with their hateful protest 🙄.
