Still trying to figure out if baby is okay

So my husband was born with coarctation of his aorta (narrowing of the aorta) and had cysts and holes in his heart. They were able to repair it with surgery. So will all our babies we have to have an echocardiogram done. This is our first baby and they are pretty concerned that he has the coarctation of the aorta. I got a scan done last Friday and then they sent off my results and I got a call on Monday about it saying they are seeing something wrong. I got another scan done with a high risk doctor today and he still sees a little bit of something but not as bad as the last scan.

I now have weekly sonograms to see if it progresses or stays the same. They said if he does have coarctation of the aorta it’s most likely not too bad and won’t need surgery. It’s definitely scary but hopefully everything is okay! I’m so so thankful they are taking this seriously!

They said most likely this is something we have to wait for him to be born to be able to tell. I’m 28 weeks so only 12 more weeks! I’m just praying ever is okay!
