High Protein in Urine

I had preeclampsia with my son and have since developed chronic hypertension. Fast forward to this pregnancy, they decided to send me on to a nephrologist to check my kidney function because I was spilling protein right away. I was asked to do a 24-hour urine collection and I just got my results back. My urine protein was over 600 mg/day. Has anyone had a similar experience? What happened? I’m only 18 weeks and am concerned that there is already issues.
