Should I be worried about my nipple?

Hello,

I am experiencing a new spareness/ pain in my right nipple. I’ve never really felt my nipple be this soar or uncomfortable before.

I am 24, no kids, not pregnant, and about to start my period in 11 days.

My other breast is kind of soar but nothing like the discomfort I’m feeling in my right nipple.

I made a drs apt for this week to check it out. After inspecting it, it honestly looks kind of irritated and red.

I’m pretty healthy, I work out 4-5 times a week and drink lots of water, take my vitamins and eat well.

Should I be worried?
