My 3 yr old dog wont poop outside.

Got my dog while my bf and i lived together. We had a giant back yard. I moved out n got my own place 2 years later, and took the dog with me. He is a 100 pound german shepherd. Hes huge.

Ever since moving, he will not poop outside no matter how long we stay outside. He sniffs around and pees on everything and stays on constant "alert" mode. Eventually we have to go inside..and he will poop everywhere in the house.

I literally take him to my boyfriends house(our old house) every two days just so he will poop. He literally runs to his spot as soon as he gets there and does his business. I have been doing this for over a year now.

This is exhausting.

I live in the city now. I cant let him roam without a leash and I have a small yard now.

What can I do? This is ridiculous

You ever seen a pile of german shepherd poop? He may as well be a horse .
