My husband and I relocated for work not too long ago to a different state and it's been going really great. We've started making friends along the way, have built some relationships, I started a business here everything is going so great. One friend in particular I'm having the HARDEST time reading and I'm usually good at picking up on energy and intentions but with this girl it's like she blocked me off? Lol

Shes generally very "giggly and positive" online when she posts stuff or when she texts or snaps it's all giggles and positivity but in person it's so different. The mood changes so fast. In person she's this almost hard ass. She "takes no shit" which is so ok but it's like she's juggling two confusing energies and I don't know which one to tune into? Lol

I invite her out with some friends which she also knows and 2 out of 10 times she's come out. Other times she's has excuses why she can't go or she says she has plans but then I just see her staying home. I invited her out in a few weeks she said she couldn't go for a reason then she changed that reason cuz the first excuse probably didn't sound too legit to her? Anyway I don't know. Professionally I run a nail business, and she runs a hair business, I can't help but think she's keeping me close enough to keep that "service relationship" ok. Cuz I do really like her and I do feel like we vibe in person but when she's physically not around I feel like I'm chasing her. It's sounds so pathetic I'm almost 30 years old but what am I missing...I do feel like this friendship is 'hard work' and I know they probably shouldn't be....I can be naive when it comes to people but I just really hope for the best
