Those who are still breastfeeding, can I ask why?

This is not to bash anyone. I’m just curious for the reason.

Because it has great nutritional value and it’s wonderful bonding. Natural weaning is between age 2.5 and 5 years old

Still breastfeeding my 3 year old and now my 13 month old. Its healthy, comforting and I am gently weaning. 3 year old has 1 minute of milk a few times a week, so barely anything. But, it still counts :) 
I will get pregnant with our 3rd soon and will most likely dry up which will lessen the feedings for the 13 month old. 
I'm a crunchy mom :)

I just recently stopped, my supply ran out because I am pregnant. I wanted to be done at 10 months but my boy refused to drink formula in a bottle or sippy cup (we tried like every different version). We tried milk too as he got a little older he refused that too.

we have been successful this long, why stop? the ultimate recommendations say to breast feed until the age of 2. i don’t think i’ll personally go that long. my goal was a year and we are at 13 months now. breast milk is the customized milk for your babe, there’s no better milk for them. (not trying to hate formula, i understand that’s the only option for some.)

I’m still breast feeding my may bub, and don’t really have a reason except that I am still really enjoying it! She’s my third baby but the first I’ve been able to breastfeed and I actually found breastfeeding sooo much easier than formula feeding/bottle feeding.

I am. He’s down to 4 times a day and since I’m not working right now it’s just easier. It’s also our bonding time and cuddle time and since he is on the move so much (and into everything!) it’s nice to have that downtime with him.
I will probably nurse until he wants to be done or if I have to wean because I am pregnant again.

I always thought I’d be done once she turned one but I think it’s going to be really hard to stop.  She still really loves it and the thought of quitting makes me emotional. I’ve been trying to get her to drink cow’s milk before we stop but she’s not liking it very much. I’m not going to lie, I love how good it is for her and the thought of going through cold and flu season or another covid outbreak without her nursing makes me nervous. I’d definitely like to cut back and think it would be nice if she only nursed first thing in the morning and right before bed.

Because my daughter loves to. She’s doesn’t know she turned one and that there’s some arbitrary trend to wean at a year old and switch to another species pumped breast milk. She nurses for nutrition, comfort, when she’s hungry or thirsty, etc. I’ll nurse her as much as she wants for another year before I gradually start to space out nursing sessions to gradually wean her
