Spitting after transvaginal ultrasound!

Hello ladies, i had my first ultrasound today and everything is looking good thank God. I came home 40 minutes later and had a streak of red blood mixed with lots of mucus when I wiped (from the ultrasound gel I think) no cramping and now no more red just super light pink almost negligible. The ultrasound technician was moving the transvaginal ultrasound quite a lot for quite a long time. Just wanted to know is it normal to have spotting after a transvaginal ultrasound? Never had one done while pregnant hence why I'm asking. Did it just irritate my cervix?
