WHAT A BUMMER
So I’m 39+5 weeks, due July 5th, the day before yesterday I had my membranes swept and was contracting bad irregularly for two days (my doctor said she was so low down yet I’m not displaying any, so if I don’t go in by Friday she will call in for me to be induced)
Woke up this morning at 7AM after not sleeping all night from contraction pain and by 9AM they were regular and painful 5min apart, so I go into labor and delivery, they put me on the monitor and say yes your contractions are regular BUT I’m not dilated only a 3cm and after two and a half hours still a 3cm. And they sent me homeee😿😿😿
So now I’m wondering who has the upper hand decision between the ER doctor not inducing me and my regular doctor suggesting for me to be induced 🤔
UPDATE: came back the next morning at 6:30AM been in labor since about to have some Pitocin, water broke twice! Excited
