When did you stop using baby soap?

Question

My son is 17 months old and I’m noticing that his hair still smells sweaty after a bath even if I wash his hair twice. I’m thinking I need to switch to a kids soap. He has very thick hair and has had probably 7 hair cuts in his life because it grows like a weed Thoughts? When did you switch?

I use orgnx coconut miracle oil shampoo and conditioner and his hair smells and feels clean each time. The baby shampoo doesn't cut it anymore for him.

I've been using my shampoo and conditioner on my daughter since she was 14m because I found the baby shampoo left her hair feeling dry.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and I just switched her a couple weeks ago after finishing a bottle of baby soap. As long as it’s doing a good job of cleaning their hair then I don’t think it really matters which you use.

My oldest is 2.5 and I rotate baby soap with a kids 3-1 soap. Her hair is really fine and the conditioner in the 3-1 helps a lot.

All 3 of my kids still use baby soap regularly (2, 5, and 6). I’ve never noticed them not smelling clean and we use Aquaphor Baby which is very mild and unscented. As their hair has gotten thicker, I’ve had to use more and make sure their hair is fully saturated with water before shampooing their hair. The only time I have to double shampoo is when I spray sunscreen on their scalp.

I would just try a different soap  my daughter is 4.5 and still uses baby soap but she doesnt have sensitvie skin so we do use normal laundry soap since baby soap doesnt work well and normal toothpaste and normal bars of soap in the bathrooms.  All just depends on your kid and their sensitivity level but just remember the better the soap the more chances itll sting the eyes

I still use baby soap on my 12 month old, almost 3 y/o, and my 4 y/o. My 4 y/o is allergic to a lot of soaps so I can't switch right now. But we use Shea Moisture Baby, the yellow label and white label. I've never noticed them being smelly after using it and that is saying something because we live in Texas and my almost 3 y/o and 4 y/o are hot natured and sweat like crazy within 5 minutes of being outside.

What kind do you use? My son is 2 and I still use baby shampoo and I use Aveeno. I love the smell and how gentle it is. I really massage it into his scalp and let it sit on his head for a minute before rinsing it out so he really gets clean. His hair grows really fast too.
