Low milk supply

Today was my son’s pediatrician appointment. He’s a little over 3 weeks older and his pediatrician started asking how much I nurse and how long. I told her when I pump, it’s an ounce and she told me that I should be making a lot more. I already know this and we supplement with formula since I can’t produce. She then told me since I only make an ounce most likely my milk will dry soon. I’ve been working with a lactation consultant and we have improved my production from half an ounce to an ounce. She said maybe we can improve or maybe we can’t but I should continue to try. Is this true? My milk will dry up even if I’m nursing him and pumping? I’m a FTM and this made me so depressed. I felt my efforts have been defeated after I left the pediatrician’s office. I’ve been pumping, power pumping, hydrating, massaging, nursing, taking supplements and even Reglan. I’ve been trying my hardest. My dream was to exclusively feed and I’ve accepted I’ll have to supplement but to hear it’ll dry up within a few weeks has made me so upset & depressed.

Edit:

I’ve been seeing a lactation consultant. I pump an ounce and with a weighted feed that I did at the office my baby also got an ounce. My consultant has told me to take Moringa & Blessed Thistle, currently on a ten day course for Reglan, to pump after each feed to increase my supply, drink lactation electrolyte powder/drinks and to power pump. I haven’t been eating high calorie food, I’ve been trying to follow my gestational diabetes diet that my OB/nutritionist advised should be enough for breastfeeding. I do eat oatmeal everyday. Not allowed fenegreek because of my hypothyroidism.

I pump sometimes because the baby is starting to refuse to latch.

Baby is having enough poop/wet diapers. Keep

In mind we supplement with formula.

How does one do a weighted feed a home? Any scale recommendations?
