Non-first time mamas! 36 weeks!

I’m just looking for experience ☺️

I was in L&D Sunday to be monitored for contractions I was having that were 3-8 minutes apart. I have a unicornuate uterus so I’m considered high risk due to preterm labor, stillbirth, and IUGR. Luckily my OB was on call so I was able to see her. She did check me and I wasn’t dilated but 50% effaced. Babe and I were monitored for an hour and a half and then sent on our way! The following day I lost my mucus plug (no denying that’s what it was- it was huge 🤪), and a tiny bit of blood a separate time I used the bathroom (not mixed in my mucus plug) that I assumed was from her checking me.

I’m still contracting, experiencing back pain and period like cramping here and there but nothing consistent. With my first baby, my water broke at 37 weeks 2 days but I didn’t notice a mucus plug or contractions prior. I couldn’t even feel the contractions after my water broke. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I know it’s not a huge deal when you lose your mucus plug as it doesn’t say much about labor, but has anyone experienced anything similar to me and gone into labor within a week or two after losing the plug? I have an appointment tomorrow, so I’ll find out if I have progressed at all, but I’m just curious and looking to kill time I guess haha.
