Is it to soon to start putting my 17 month old in a toddler bed?

My daughter will be 2 years old in a couple months I just bought a toddler bed. Is it to soon to put my daughter in a toddler bed? Any advice what to do to get my daughter comfortable in the toddler bed? Any good memory foam beds to fit a toddler bed? Standard crib size mattress.

I put my son in a toddler bed at this age. The first few nights he did get up a lot at first. So it was a lot of back and forth, whatever your nighttime routine is with her keep it the same the best way you can. Now and then my son may have a hard time going to sleep so I may lay with him until he does go to sleep, and other nights he wakes up in the middle of the night and crawl into bed with me, and once he's asleep I just move him back and he goes to sleep no problem. My 2 year old has been in a twin bed since he turned 2 😋 He loves his bed. Definitely more room than a crib/toddler bed for him to move around in.

Nothing is wrong with it but my toddler wouldn't stay in her bed without rails keeping her there.
