Laparoscopy coming up..what to expect?

After taking a one month mental break from TTC I'm finally going in for my Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy coming Friday. Is there anything I should mindful of? What's the procedure like? What's the recovery like?

While my doctor has explained most of it I'd love to hear from folks who have gone through it.

The HSG showed a blockage in the left Tube so my doc wants to investigate and try to fix it. She mentioned tubal cannulation as well as doing a biopsy of the uterus and just basically checking to see if everything is fine.
