Some insight in early pregnancy

Hey ladies so for the past year I haven’t had my period due to starting the depo shot but stopping it after the second dose. Since then I haven’t gotten my period. I did however have what seemed like a period back in may but since then nothing but irregular bleeding here and there. I have been sexually active the past few months and have used a contraceptive during those times up until the last time I had sex which was June 29th. I’ve felt a little off recently so I decided to take a hpt this morning and there is a line indicating that it is positive. Is it possible to have a positive result this early if the last time I had sex was only a week and 5 days ago?
