Ttc/VBAC?

Hey guys! I had to get a C-section with my son and he's about to be one so we are talking about ttc again, my OB originally told me I need to wait 18 months to try to avoid another C-section. How soon after yours did you start trying? Were you able to do vaginal delivery?  Picture of my baby boy because look how cute 🥺

I had a scheduled c section in July 2019 with my daughter. I got pregnant with my son in September 2020 when my daughter was 14 months old, and I just had a successful vbac 3 weeks ago

Our (SC) boy was 9 months when we found out I was pregnant again, and had a VBAC and after 18 months gave birth again natural. Now pregnant with nr 4 and going for all natural again.
In the Netherlands it’s quit normal to have a VBAC, they even recommend it because there’s less chance of complications compared to a repaid SC. And depending on the reason why you had a SC your chances are 75% of delivering vaginaly.
They do recommend waiting for 12 months before getting pregnant again. (Midwife myself)

I had a scheduled csection in late September of 2019 and got pregnant again mid August 2020 (so 11.5 months). I had my successful vbac this past May!

Had a baby June 2019, emergency c section due to Baby heart rate issues, and she was fine once out! Got pregnant February (didn’t mean to, wanted to wait until first babe was 1…) and had the most wonderful, successful, vbac November 2020. I was told that it could be risky, due to how close they were, but my dr empowered me, monitored closely, and it was such a great experience! I recommend it 1000%!

My first VBAC I was 15 mos pp when I got pregnant and with my second I was like 20 mos pp. Both were great experiences. It all just depends on how much risk you are willing to take. I know it I s hard to wait when you want to conceive!

Found out I was pregnant with baby #2 a day before my first babe turned 1! My boys are 20 months apart and I had a successful vbac with my second baby! I'm now 28 weeks with my third (second babe and this baby will be 22 months apart) and planning/hoping for another vbac!
