Castor Oil ???

Hey so I know people will have different opinions about this, but who tried castor oil. And did it work. Like how was your experience and what week of pregnancy did you try castor oil ??

The question to ask yourself if you want to try castor oil- is it worth the possibility that you could kill your baby? Or would you rather wait a few extra weeks for baby to be ready?
I know pregnancy fucking sucks at the end and you're so ready to meet your baby. But it is not worth it at all. I've done that wait three times and it was worth it every time to have a healthy baby. 
I have a friend who had a stillbirth. She didn't use castor oil and the stillbirth wasn't caused by anything she did. It was four years ago and she is still racked with absolute grief from her loss. Having a baby die during or after birth is not something you want to go through, especially if it is caused by doing something dangerous to induce an early labor. 
Your baby will come when s/he's ready. If it is before 39 weeks, baby isn't even full term yet. Full term has changed to 39 weeks and I know that because my kids were born at 39+0, 38+6, and 38+4. And despite only being born a couple of days before "full" term, there were questions on whether or not they were ready to go home at the same time as normal babies. One of them had jaundice because he was a little early. The earliest one had severe issues breastfeeding and had trouble waking up to nurse, even when I wiped his belly and feet with a cold cloth.

I waited until 2 days before my due date to try it and it didn't induce labor at all. It's a powerful diuretic, a terrible time for you and baby. I ended up going into labor at 41w3d after trying ALL the "tricks"

You will get massive diarrhea and possibly become dehydrated and cause yourself more problems. TRUST ME. 
It could cause your baby to have poop and swallow it. 
It’s not worth the risk even is it’s only 1 out of 100 chance it could harm your baby.
Is harming your baby worth one less day of pregnancy?

I did with all 3 of my kids at 37 weeks and everything was fine but I was young and stupid and I’d definitely wouldn’t do it this time around!! Do not do it!
