Bar soap usually has fewer unnecessary additives/ toxins. Also liquid soap is generally mostly water as you'll find it the first ingredient listed. My dermatologist reccomended unscented Dove bar soap a few years ago and my face has never looked better. ...The real question is where do you live that you never saw bar soap before?

Yupp been using either a quality olive oil bar soap or dove's sensitive/unscented bar on my face! Works wonders for my skin!
