Supplementing?

I feed 8 oz of breast milk but getting low in freezer and supply… how did u guys supplement? If i only had 2 oz or more of breast milk then how much formula?

If you mean you feed 8oz of breastmilk to baby in one feed then you are definitely over feeding. Breastmilk fed babes only need 1-1.25oz per hr and most usually not go over 4oz a bottle. I would highly highly suggest to pace feed. 
If you mean you have 8oz a breastmilk left and need to supplement the rest with formula. Then you need to just give breastmilk first and mix 2oz a formula at a time.

Is your baby taking 8oz bottles of breastmilk??? Most breastfed babies don’t go much over 4-5. Are you pace bottle feeding?
But as for your question if you have 2oz of breastmilk and you want an 8oz bottle than you’d do 6 oz of formula. But you might have to play with ratios a bit as formula is s lot “heavier” than breastmilk.

Answer

Feed whatever breastmilk you have first then make a bottle of formula to make up for it, never use breastmilk as the water for formula if that’s what you are asking
