We aren’t planning on finding out but want a creative way to share the news with our family. Not via text, FaceTime or Facebook.

What’s your plan on revealing gender post birth?

I don’t plan on revealing by effect. I will just verbally share as I see fit. But we are also not announcing our pregnancy until 2 maybe even 3rd trimester

I didn't know there were gender reveals after birth? I'll probably just say the baby's name and people will work out the sex...

With our first, we just told the people who knew about the pregnancy, and then when we made our social media announcement I put a blue heart in it. Only one person picked up on it. I’m more about subtlety than an OTT in your face gender reveal. 🤷🏻‍♀️

With our family who lives near us, we’re telling them in person, so if they’re able to visit us in the hospital or shortly after at home. We are probably going to try and record their reactions especially if our baby is a different gender than their predictions. If they’re not near us we’re going to call them on FaceTime. Options are limited as half of our family lives across the country.
