Anyone else planning on having a baby soon after they give birth?

I'm in second trimester and I plan to get pregnant within the first year of having my baby. At least 9 months pp 🥰

Nope. I wanted to give my body the opportunity to fully heal between pregnancies and to try to prevent unnecessary complications during my second pregnancy. We started trying for our second right at 18 months postpartum and got pregnant straight away.

Hell no, pregnancy sucks, I can’t wait for it to be over. I want a good 3-4 year age gap between my kids after seeing how my brothers became seriously codependent on each other from being so close in age and never being treated as individuals. It was always “the boys” and they had the same friends, the same hobbies, the same everything and it was just so unhealthy. I’m 4-5 years younger than them and that was a good age gap between me and the middle child - we got along very well.

My two boys will be 3 years apart. I am so excited about that age difference personally. I feel like I’ve had an amazing time with my older son and have spent so much quality time with just him. And he’ll be old enough to be somewhat independent when our second is born. I’m not concerned about their friendship, I don’t personally think close age is a for sure bestie friendship. Everyone is different though!

Hell no. It takes a year and a half for your body to fully heal and I want to actually enjoy my baby instead of having an infant and being pregnant and miserable at the same time

I had a csection with my first and got pregnant right before a year (definitely not the recommendation with some doctors). My second pregnancy was hell and having 2 under 2 is rough. I love it but definitely wish i wouldve waited longer to enjoy my oldest longer

My sister and I are 21 months apart and are best friends! I would just make sure that you check with your doctor before you start trying again so soon. My mom had my sister and I pretty close in age, and then got pregnant with my brother at 7 months postpartum and had so many complications and health issues. It was confirmed because she didn’t wait for her body to fully heal after her last pregnancy. She was only 25, so age wasn’t an issue.
Of course not everyone is the same, but it’s recommended to wait 12-18 months postpartum to let your body fully heal!

I got pregnant 9month pp after my first. I just had our little girl 8 weeks ago. They are 16 months apart. She was born 3weeks early. I absolutely love having them so close! Good luck Mama!

You don't always get to make that plan. We wanted our first 2 to be close together, but I didn't start ovulating until about 8m pp. I got pregnant on the second cycle, but for some people it takes longer, and some other don't ovulate for as long as they're breastfeeding(if that's what you choose to do).
I'm currently pregnant with my third, who will be 18m younger than my middle child and it's definitely gotten harder each pregnancy. I love how close my kids are but it is hard on your body

Had a csection with my first and got pregnant 7 months after. Had a vbac with my second baby. My girls are 16.5 months apart with the youngest about to turn 1. I looooove that they’re so close in age. And now we’re on our first month trying for #3 (only 2dpo so we’ll see 🤞🏻)
