For the ladies who’ve been hurting...
Hey! I’ve seen soooo many posts about pain in the hips and pelvis. I was experiencing it really intensely too - to the point that I was already having trouble walking. (Inner thigh and top of the butt pain that would nearly drop me) And now I have none. (Took two weeks) Thought I’d share what I did in case it helps anybody.
1. Made a conscious effort all day long to stay symmetrical. Both feet face forward when I sit, stand or walk. It actually takes a lot of focus. I found out I stand and walk with my “bad side” turned out a lot if I’m not thinking about it.
2. Pillow between knees/thighs for sleep.
3. I went to the chiropractor. He wouldn’t adjust my hip but the low back adjustment seemed to help some.
4. I’ve been strengthening my TA, low back, inner and outer thigh, and glute muscles. That seems to have made a huuuge difference. I’ve been doing Prenatal Barre Blend. I don’t know that that program specifically is good for everyone, but I definitely would make sure to do something specifically designed for pregnant women for the strengthening. You can make it worse if you push to hard in a “regular” program.
Anyway, I don’t know if any of these things would’ve fixed the pain completely on their own or not...🤷♀️ But I do know the combo worked. I also don’t know if this stuff would work for bad low back pain that doesn’t stem from the butt. I didn’t have that. Good luck!!
