Have you started officially potty training yet?

I’ve introduced my son to his little potty and we  talk about it. He even pooped in it once but I’m waiting still to officially train him. What’s the consensus here though? I just feel like he’s still too young, I’ll probably really start when he gets closer to 2

We are only because he’s the only one at day care that isn’t (there all 2 or older) so he feels left out so we mirror daycare he’s still in diapers but when he says he has to go we sit on his potty with his books!

We potty trained my oldest at 18 months and she did amazing. My son hasn't taken to it as well, so after two weeks of no-pants attempted potty training we went back to diapers, now in training pants and letting him sit on the potty each time we change him. This evening he took his training pants off himself and asked to sit on the potty. A couple days ago he pooped on the potty. So, it's going. At this point I'll be thrilled if he's potty trained by his birthday.

We started introducing her to the potty but I’m not enforcing it. My son is 4 and we started introducing at 18 months and he literally just finally got fully potty trained. I don’t have any high hopes lmao. But it can’t hurt to get her comfortable with it so when she’s ready we can go for it. She went on the potty about a month ago for the first time and then the last two nights before bed we tired and she went. So we will slowing keep having her sit and try at times and I do ask her throughout the day if she has to go. But we’ll follow her lead. If she shows more interest soon I plan to try harder but I don’t want to push it.

We haven't even started thinking about it yet. Daughter isn't showing many signs of readiness and we have some huge changes coming up. She will be a big sister come September (due in 9 weeks) and we are moving 10 hours away back to our hometown in November. Figured we would wait till after we move and are settled before we start.

Yea I started a month ago today my daughter wen to the potty all day with no accidents she usually have at least one a day

My daughter is showing signs of being ready but we have baby #2 coming in about a month.  Pediatrician advised that we hold off until she’s two because it will already be a lot her having to adjust to new baby
