Question

So I have a question…I am only 4 weeks 2 days and I just went pee and saw some blood and a small clot. My sister wants me to go to the ER to be checked. I don’t this it’s a problem being as though my period was due today and I’ve been cramping all week anyways . I’m not bleeding or anything just a spot of blood…if you’ve ever spotted before is this a situation where I shld run to the ER?

If you have a doctor you should give them a call. It wouldn't hurt to get checked. I had some bright red bleeding and it felt like a lot but wasn't clotted and stopped after a couple hours and I got an ultrasound the next day. They told me unless you are filling a maxi pad it's not considered heavy bleeding. Some bleeding is normal. I had a subchorionic hematoma they said where my placenta is forming. I was 6 weeks that day and so far everything looks good. I hope everything is good for you 💛🤞

Call your OB. No need to run to the ER esp as they likely won’t do much for you anyway
