When do we go into labor?

I just realized that I don’t know much of anything about going into labor naturally. I was induced with my son 6 years ago. I really don’t have the slightest idea lol. Please tell me your stories

I didn’t know I was in labor. I thought I had a stomach ache and when I realized it was going away my mom suggested I go to the hospital. I got there at 7cm dilated.

I had both my girls naturally! I plan on going natural again with my son! Currently 22 wks 
My oldest (5) my water broke at 1:20 in the morning. The day before I had not horrible but pretty crappy diarrhea. I labored with her for 22 hrs and 35 minutes. She was born 35 wks on the dot 
My youngest (2) my mucus plug fell out at 7:00 in the morning. Around 8 the contractions started (nothing I could handle) My MidWife requested I come in and sure enough once the monitored me I was in labor. My water wouldn’t break so they broke it around 6 in the afternoon and she was born the next morning at 2:10. I roughly labored with her for 19 hours and 10 minutes. She was born 39 wks on the dot.
With both girls the day before “labor” I had diarrhea mixed with contractions and in my gut I just knew it was time.

Check out bundle birth or nurse Zabe on YouTube-they have some great how to know you are in labor and when to go to the hospital prep videos. I’m on my 4th and I still reference them lol. Each baby and pregnancy is different. You got this!!!

My water broke at 2:30am when I was 39w5d. Contractions started 30 mins later. Son was born at 12:59pm.

I would say you notice when you’re going to go in to labor when your mucus plug comes out or when your water breaks. With my son I lost my mucus plug early at around 6 AM couldn’t go back to sleep because of my contractions. I started timing them and around 3pm they were 3 minutes apart and getting stronger, so I told hubby it was time to go, when I got to the hospital I was 5 cm dialated. & he arrived at 11:11pm 😌. I hope this time around I labor and deliver all in the same day as well 👍🏼

I am having a scheduled c section with this baby but my first I went into labour all on my own as a super young first time momma. 
I went into labour at 40+6 weeks and was set to be induced the day I went into labour. 
At 3:30 am I woke to the contractions & I assumed they were Braxton Hicks so I got up, peed & went back to bed. I half slept for a half an hour and noticed by 4 am they were significantly stronger, so I woke my husband and whispered “I think I’m in labour.” 
My husband basically rocked with me through contractions before he decided he wanted us to head to the hospital. I kept telling him it’s too soon, but I think he was worried so I just went with the flow and went to the hospital. They told me I was having contractions but they won’t admit me as I’m only about 2 cm dilated. I was supposed to be induced today, but they sent me home anyways saying they just didn’t have the room. (They did, this hospital is a very very bad hospital, they’re known for pushing c sections so OBs don’t have to wait around🙄)
I went home and laboured at home for the next 6 hours. I lost my entire plug at home and I laboured on my bed until I couldn’t take it and headed to the shower to help ease the pain but that’s when I had the most painful contraction and decided enough was enough and headed to the hospital. Once I got there I was about 6cm dilated and continued to labour with the epidural until I was 10cms!

You go into labor whenever your body and back are ready. It can be different for every person she every pregnancy. The length of labor is unique, too.
My 2 pregnancies were pretty similar but my labors were totally different.
